Woodland's Women's Ministry is about people. Whether it is serving others through community outreach, prayer, or Bible Study, or joining other ladies in the fellowship of craft days and retreats, Woodlands' women's ministry is about being involved. God cares about you and so do we.
At times, a woman may feel she is not as close to God as she should be; or, possibly, that she may have nothing to offer God. Yet, God continues to see her not only as dearly beloved but also as pivotal to Christian ministry. Woodlands believes that God equips women for ministry, outreach, helps, or service according to His plan. Equipping begins with learning about who she is in relation to God. The Bible relates many examples of women who found their identity and purpose as well as eternal love and forgiveness in their relationship with God. In the lives of Mary and Martha, Ruth, Deborah, Mary Magdalene, or the Crippled Woman God's purpose and ministry is revealed through women who devoted themselves to God and made themselves available to Him.
As God continues to work in our lives, the women of Woodlands desire to reach out to the women of the mountain with love, hope, service, and community. We invite you to join us as we walk in relationship with Jesus and with each other. If you have not yet invited Jesus into your life, we would like to meet you and introduce Him to you, and we encourage you to read about Knowing God.
