Kids are a welcome part of the Family at Woodlands!
Vision for kids:
Jesus said, “Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven. 5And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.” Matthew 18: 4-5 (NLT)
We believe in Jesus' mandate to equip the next generation! Families will find a fun, safe, & loving environment for their children to learn the good news about Jesus, how to grow in their faith, and how to share the love of God with others. We also want to “come along side” parents as they raise godly children, so what your kids learn will re-enforce the principles of Godly living you are teaching them at home!
Curriculum for kids:
Your children will learn life lessons from the Bible, and how to apply those lessons in their daily lives. Nothing that is contrary to the Bible will be taught to your children. We use the Bible as our primary teaching tool. We also use the Kids Sunday School curriculum. (KidsSundaySchool.com) Since kids learn best through hearing, seeing, touching, & movement, there are many crafts & activities they do to help them learn the Bible lessons each week. And the kids will be given a “take home” page so the parents know what lessons the kids have covered & suggestions of additional activities the kids can do at home with their family!

It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. 17It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.” 2 Tim. 3: 16-17 (NLT).
Teachers for kids:
Our teachers have a heart for Children! They are mature Christians, and equipped to teach the Bible in a loving, safe environment.
Facilities for kids:
Woodlands has bright, well-equipped rooms for each age level. As our family grows, we have room to grow, too! From the Nursery, to the Elementary School, to the Youth “Den,” your children will enjoy the “home-like” Sunday School facility!
